• External final evaluation of “Najah II: High-impact training and professional integration project for young people in Morocco”
  • Fondation des Apprentis d’Auteuil, AFD
  • Morocco

The general objective of the Najah II project is to contribute to the socio-economic integration of young Moroccans far from employment by strengthening their employability and supporting them towards entrepreneurship. Training young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment nor Training) and supporting them towards employment or self-employment aims to transform them into actors of their socio-economic emancipation, and to positively influence their direct environment (family, friends, communities). By reintegrating them into different integration pathways adapted to their abilities, needs and projects, in line with the opportunities existing at the local level, the project has a positive impact on the self-confidence of young people affected by dropping out of school and family, the social isolation and economic insecurity. To achieve its overall objective, the project aims to support young people in their training and integration paths towards employment, to support young project leaders in an entrepreneurial path and to support professionals in setting up courses and decent and sustainable professional opportunities.
